Beware corruption of bribery is not the only one…………

The word corruption is derived from the word corrupt which means to abuse or to destroy. Thus the word corruption can be said has the one which destroys the morals in the person to act as per to the duties and responsibilities bestowed upon him and also abusing the powers confer to him.
Mostly the political corruption is said to be, the abuse of public power, office, or resources by government officials or employees for personal gain, e.g. by extortion, soliciting or offering bribes.
There are many forms of corruptions and they are in reality more dangerous one compare to the bribery or extortion,(effects of which can be evident and mostly only monetary and more practical one.) the following are types of corruptions more harmful then bribery.
  1. Cronyism :
Meaning It means favoring the person for a certain post who may not be the qualified for the required post but is a friends/ reliable person for the one who hold power. Such type of corruptions occur specially when the Powerful person wants to end the competition for the post he is holding and to feel free  and secure so that the weaker person appointed or a friend appointed will never raise a voice against him/her. No matter now a day though a transparent and accountable system is been applied yet they are not foolproof so to stop such kind of corruption.
Effects:  The merit of the talented person is not given a proper value. There is no equal distribution of the opportunity to all and fundamental right of equality and justice is hampered.
  1.  Nepotism:
Meaning: In this way the power is used by the authority for the benefit of his        relatives and for   favoring his/her relatives not considering the merit or even the consequences of such use of power.
Effects:  The main root of competition and the aim of democracy i.e. true people representation is absent. The fear of continuous monopoly of the same person might arise. The hard earn money of the public is wasted on the luxury of few.
   3.  Patronage:
Meaning:  This is a type where one favours and aids a particular type of institution or the community for the purpose of electoral votes etc, i.e. in short, long term investment in form of money (donation) or time for social causes for one personal use in future.
Effects:   The minds of the people are manipulated through the usage of media or social institutes which again hamper the free and fair election and democracy process from very grass root level. Chances are there that the people might get misguided to a very large extent.

Ultimately the major cause of all types of corruptions is due to when an authority or a person holding power becomes selfish and thinks about his own growth irrespective of its defect on public at large. But mostly such kind of misuses cannot be totally stop due to human tendency and growing rat races of competitions within the political as well as administrative circles.
The recent raise against the corruption in India through the LokPal Bill is no doubt one of the most significant phenomena in the political senior of our country, where after a long time after people of India in masses have raised their voice against corruption by supporting the LokPal bill and supporting the concept of Lokayukta which is also known as Ombudsman. An Ombudsman is a person who acts as a trusted intermediary between an organization and some internal or external constituency while representing not only but mostly the broad scope of constituent interests. The concept of Lokaykta is present in India since 1970-1972 but the problem with the concept is that it do not give the whole and independent power to investigate the matters and it is mostly concentrated to the one kind of corruption i.e. Bribery. Other forms of corruptions are neglected.
The main cause of only dealing with the corruption of Bribery is that it is evident and the investigation in it is easy compare to other form of corruption. Also mainly the other form of corruptions is generally and morally not considered overall wrong by the society at large. Many of us knowingly or unknowingly are involved in such other types of corruptions at a very minor or major level. They form a part of may be human ethics to help other in disguise of our own benefits and therefore not opposes much by all of us. It is also difficult to draw a line when your act of kindness can turn into other forms of corruption, but a deeper analysis on our  such actions of kindness and it long-term effect on the public at larger can  help us to guide to stay within the boundary on not being corrupt and involve in corrupt practices.
But still such other kinds of corruptions other then bribery are the main root of corruption. We definitely requires the Bill and Laws which not only keep a check on bribery but also the other such forms where the loss may not be the monetary one, but of the talent, the fundamental right of equality , of the morals of the society and again of the democracy to a lager extent. Therefore there is a need of whole of the society not just to raise the voice against the bribery at larger but all kinds of corruption and also to stop such kind of corruptions ourselves even at a smaller level for good health of democracy.

Real Civilized-- Indian Cities or Tribes?

India has always been the country of full of diversity both geographically as well as through different cultures, groups, language etc. Since ages the Indian cultural had allowed the various different kinds and cultural to settled in their land and had allowed them to be the one among themselves. The History of India is evident of the vast changes with respect to Indian politics, economic condition and in the cultures due to ears of Mugals then the British and the present Independent Stage. All the various regions, religions and languages have now adjusted and changed to suit and make its comfortable place in this changing face of India. But irrespective of all this changes, the tribal Indians have still managed to keep their originality, the cultural and their beliefs unaltered.
In India there are around 645 tribe, whose population goes around of 20 millions, staying in the every part of the country in the various types of areas, out of which many of them are yet to be discovered. They have their own different small world to stay in. Yes agreed that now majority of them are getting extinct and on the scale of the world norms of healthy and High standards living they rank last and gets score in minus. They really have low level of literacy, health, the hygienic and economic condition. But yet what they have stored with them is the unique ability to nature and preserve their own culture, follow their own beliefs and a total confidence about their knowledge and experience related to nature and its usefulness, then may it be in making best quality of herbal medicines or the predicting the natural phenomena correctly, they are master in all.
Their total society has grown mature at least with respect to the real social and liberal views. Tribal social life is mainly based on the principal of equality. Unlike the so called well behaved , more civilized and develop cities and the villages the singular tribes do not need a quote amongst them for the lower section or the privilege class, the main reason is due to the need of poverty and hunger the value of dignity of labor for any kind of work is inscribed within them automatically. One is just appreciated and respected for the quality of his/her work and not on kind of work or its income. In most of the tribes we will not see the difference among two groups due to their faith on different believes. Each and every power for them which provides them support for living is equal to god and each of such energy is to be respected in some or the other form and is there deity which should not be disrespected and humiliated if not kept at the highest place.  Such a simple logic if used in the villages and small clans and also in the cities the religion diversity of India will become its one of the strength which will boost us towards the development.
The tribal women gains equal freedom as her counterpart male to work, to have her voice in marriage and any relationship. For the tribal women there is no need to form a women liberal group or any women quotation bill among her tribe for betterment and equal opportunity for them in every walk of life. The issue of female feticide does not arrive in majority of the tribes since gender inequality is not rooted in their cultural from the basic grassroots level itself.
I wonder sometimes about the exactly ironic conditions when compare the problems of the well educated, scientific principles based cites of India and exactly opposite life styled of the tribes, and then just a question pops in that where did our well developed cities and villages actually originated from such tribes have lost their basic values of equality and liberty which are essential foundations of any civilized society to survive and grow........
